February 22-DOERS Meeting

Kinder Feeding Program

We took 30,000 children’s multivitamins and 2,000 doses of albendazole to Copan, delivering them to Ellen Finn so she could distribute them through the schools she works at.

Finca Oriflama

We arrived in Retalalheu to meet our friend Curt Bowen. He works to develop sustainable agriculture by supplying organic fertilizer and consulting to growers. Rio Dulce and Tikal

Casa Aurora

Lancetilla Tropical Botanical Garden

We went to Lancatilla Botanical Garden outside of Tela. It’s the second largest tropical garden in the world. While there we explored the jungle. There were bamboo tunnels.
