We took 30,000 children’s multivitamins and 2,000 doses of albendazole to Copan, delivering them to Ellen Finn so she could distribute them through the schools she works at.

Mike and Phil flew back to the US. Kasey and Rob took a back road into Guatemala first overnighting in a riparian town called Rio Dulce. The next day there was an excursion to a waterfall fed by thermal pools which cascaded into a swimming hole nestled in the jungle.

Traveled to Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara which is the departemental capital. It’s a nice town up in the mountains where we’ve working for years now.

We went to Lancatilla Botanical Garden outside of Tela. It’s the second largest tropical garden in the world. While there we explored the jungle. There were bamboo tunnels.

We rode on a bus to get to the sparkling capital, Tegucigalpa. Certain fates weren’t with us as my phone wasn’t working. We intended to rendevous and give pre/ post-natal mutlivitamins to Maria Regina Inestroza, National Director Pure Water for the World www.purewaterfortheworld.org, but we couldn’t catch up before she left for the field.
